Universal Fit™ Technology:
TayMac's proprietary Universal Fit™ system enables the same product to be used for many different applications. (Fig. 1) Configure the base for the desired application by using a needle nose pliers to twist off the grooved areas. Take the pliers from behind the base and twist until break-out area snaps off. (Fig. 2)

Note:
If cover is to be installed on other than a smooth flat surface, use a 1/4" bead of silicone or equivalent caulking.

Warning:
Improper installation of any electrical device can cause serious injury or death. File any sharp edges to avoid injury.

Easy Install:

1. Configure the base for the application you intend to use:

  • Base comes pre-configured to duplex.

  • For GFCI use a needle nose pliers to snap out the material along the snap-out lines.

  • For switch snap out the base along all of the snap-out lines so that the base can accept the adapter. The adapter comes pre-configured for switch. Line up the notches on the adapter with the notches on the back of the base. Snap the adapter into place on the back of the base.

  • For round applications follow step 3 except the adapter will need to be configured for the round that you require. Use a needle nose pliers to snap out the adapter until the appropriate size openning is acheived.

    See (Fig.1) and (Fig.2).

2. Turn off power to avoid electric shock.

3. Back out receptacle box screws. There is no need to remove screws. (Fig. 3)

4. Mount gasket over screws.

5. Place base over box screws using Multi-Mac's patented QuickFit™ (keyed mount) system. Slide base over screw heads from the larger side of the keyed mount to the smaller side until aligned with the receptacle. Tighten screws until snug. (Fig. 4)
